Personal Items and Hygiene
Due to hygiene considerations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on earrings. We believe in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene for our customers, and this policy helps us ensure that every pair of earrings is brand new and untouched. This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Damaged or Broken Items During Shipping
Calm by Creation Studio is not responsible for items damaged during shipping. However, if you receive a damaged or broken item, please contact us immediately at hmirobinson@gmail.com. We recommend reaching out to the shipping carrier to file a claim for any items damaged during transit. We will assist you in this process as needed.
Consumer Guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
International Returns and Refunds
- **Return Window**: We offer a standard return window of 30 days for international customers.
- **Return Shipping Fees**: We will cover return shipping costs for international customers in the case of damaged or broken items.
- **Condition of Returned Items**: Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Any items not in sellable condition may incur a restocking fee.
EU 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are a customer located in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days after the day you receive your goods. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email).
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
